Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way to create a direct connection between people who like to eat fresh, local produce and the farm that grows it. The CSA model is an economically viable way for small scale farmers to produce a wide variety of high quality vegetables in an earth-friendly way. CSA fosters responsible relationships between the grower, the consumer, the food, and the land on which the food is grown.
Our members pay in advance and then receive a weekly box of carefully harvested, certified organic vegetables and fruits. The crops are washed, packed and delivered to neighborhood pick up sites throughout Eugene and Portland.
The weekly boxes reflect the abundance of diversity throughout the growing season from cool weather crops in the spring and fall to the fruitful bounty of the summer. Each week we will also include a newsletter with farm happenings, recipes and interesting information about food. We will be having a summer farm tour and heirloom tomato tasting during the height of it all sometime in August.
